Asunci\u00f3n<\/strong> cuenta con una Coordinaci\u00f3n de Innovaci\u00f3n Acad\u00e9mica encargada de la formaci\u00f3n y actualizaci\u00f3n pedag\u00f3gica y t\u00e9cnica continua del profesorado para impulsar la innovaci\u00f3n educativa en las aulas y ayudar a los estudiantes a desarrollar su mayor potencial de aprendizaje.<\/p><h3>Misi\u00f3n<\/h3><p>Compromiso de la Instituci\u00f3n con la docencia de calidad y el desarrollo docente de su profesorado, ofreci\u00e9ndole oportunidades para que adquiera nuevos conocimientos y actualice sus competencias docentes de forma permanente.<\/p><h3>Funciones<\/h3><ul><li>Coordinar la realizaci\u00f3n de cursos de formaci\u00f3n continua que se centren en la adquisici\u00f3n de conocimientos y competencias por medio del aprender haciendo (learning by doing), y con el uso pedag\u00f3gico de las TIC combinando con formas innovadoras de ense\u00f1anza.<\/li><li>Impulsar pol\u00edticas para formar en el uso de las TIC a los docentes desde un enfoque pedag\u00f3gico y did\u00e1ctico y no solo desde un punto de vista meramente instrumental.<\/li><li>Promover la formaci\u00f3n de un equipo de tutores que acompa\u00f1en a los docentes en su innovaci\u00f3n educativa.<\/li><li>Trabajar coordinadamente con la Direcci\u00f3n Acad\u00e9mica y con otras instancias acad\u00e9micas para el logro de los objetivos.<\/li><li>Coordinar a un grupo base de docentes innovadores, que de manera colaborativa dediquen tiempo a la reflexi\u00f3n, indagaci\u00f3n, estudio e investigaci\u00f3n sobre las metodolog\u00edas innovadoras, las necesidades docentes, los recursos necesarios, las \u00faltimas tendencias, etc.<\/li><li>Mantener Relaciones internacionales y nacionales con instituciones que se dedican a la investigaci\u00f3n y puesta en pr\u00e1ctica de la innovaci\u00f3n docente para ampliar los c\u00edrculos profesionales y personales de los educadores con el fin de estar actualizados y mejorar su capacidad para aprender, crecer y resolver problemas.<\/li><li>Organizar proyectos, congresos, seminarios y otras actividades que lleven a la mejora continua de la instituci\u00f3n.<\/li><li>Coordinar con la Direcci\u00f3n Acad\u00e9mica y la Direcci\u00f3n de Postgrado el seguimiento del desempe\u00f1o acad\u00e9mico innovador de los profesores
