El aporte realizado por la FIUNA es relevante espec\u00edficamente en el campo de las energ\u00edas renovables, raz\u00f3n por la cual un comit\u00e9 evaluador internacional ha dictaminado la publicaci\u00f3n del trabajo desarrollado \u00edntegramente en los laboratorios de la FIUNA, en la mencionada revista.<!--more-->\nEl art\u00edculo cient\u00edfico denominado <em>\u201cBiaxial Solar Tracking System Based on the MPPT Approach Integrating ICTs for Photovoltaic Applications,\u00bb<\/em> ha sido aceptado para su publicaci\u00f3n en la Secci\u00f3n Especial de la prestigiosa revista <em>\u201cInternational Journal of Photoenergy,\u201d<\/em> denominada <em>\u201cModeling and Maximum Power Point Tracking Techniques of Photovoltaic Systems,\u00bb<\/em>. Este trabajo ha sido sometido, previa aprobaci\u00f3n para su publicaci\u00f3n, al arbitrio de un comit\u00e9 revisor internacional conformado por investigadores de amplia trayectoria, quienes han dictaminado favorablemente la publicaci\u00f3n del trabajo debido a la relevancia cient\u00edfica de los resultados de la investigaci\u00f3n desarrollada por la FIUNA en el campo de los sistemas fotovoltaicos y la eficiencia de \u00e9stos sistemas, lo cual constituye un aporte relevante de la <strong>Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda<\/strong>\u00a0a la comunidad cient\u00edfica internacional en el sector de las Energ\u00edas Renovables.\nEl trabajo fue desarrollado \u00edntegramente en los laboratorios de la <strong>Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de Asunci\u00f3n (FIUNA)<\/strong>, por los siguientes autores: Ra\u00fal Gregor, Yoshihiko Takase, Jorge Esteban Rodas Ben\u00edtez, Leonardo Carreras, Derlis Gregor y Andr\u00e9s L\u00f3pez.\nEl art\u00edculo introduce un dise\u00f1o novedoso de un seguidor solar biaxial aplicado a los sistemas\u00a0 fotovoltaicos (PVs, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), y hace uso de las tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n y la comunicaci\u00f3n (ICTs, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) para aumentar la eficiencia del sistema\u00a0 fotovoltaico. A fin de generar las referencias de la posici\u00f3n del sol (en azimut y elevaci\u00f3n) en tiempo real para el algoritmo de control digital implementado, es utilizado un sistema de posicionamiento global (GPS, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) por sat\u00e9lite.
