Msc. Mario Arzamendia, quien present\u00f3 \u00a0de un trabajo realizado por investigadores del\u00a0Laboratorio de Sistemas Distribuidos (LSD). Tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 del evento Jefe del Departamento de Electricidad Ing. Juan Encina, en su en su car\u00e1cter de Presidente de la Secci\u00f3n IEEE Paraguay y Vicepresidente del Consejo del Cono Sur del IEEE.<!--more-->\nEste evento se desarroll\u00f3 del 28 al 30 de octubre de 2015 en la ciudad de Santiago de Chile, organizado por la Secci\u00f3n IEEE Chile y el Consejo del Cono Sur del IEEE.\nLa referida actividad tuvo lugar en la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Central de Chile, con la participaci\u00f3n de 150 profesionales de diversos pa\u00edses de Latinoam\u00e9rica. Durante la misma se presentaron 189 trabajos de 17 pa\u00edses.\nEn tal sentido la FIUNA fue representada por el Msc. Ing. Mario Arzamendia, Docente Investigador del Laboratorio de Sistemas Distribuidos (LSD), quien expuso el trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n titulado \u201c<em>Design and Implementation of a Gateway between IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-101 standards for Power Electrical Systems<\/em>\u201d, por los autores: Juan Lobo, Miguel Cuenca, Derlis Gregor, Mario Arzamendia, Ra\u00fal Gregor y Sergio Toledo.\nEsta presentaci\u00f3n capt\u00f3 el inter\u00e9s de todo el auditorio y demostr\u00f3 la gran capacidad que tiene la FIUNA para compartir experiencias y proyectos a nivel de Latinoam\u00e9rica y el mundo, manifest\u00f3 el Ing.
