La presente edici\u00f3n tuvo lugar en Airlington (Washington, Estados Unidos) y fue el punto de encuentro de 180 disertantes provenientes de diferentes partes del mundo, entre ellos el Ing. Antonio Segal\u00e9s Espinosa, en representaci\u00f3n de la <strong>Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de Asunci\u00f3n (FIUNA).<\/strong>\n<!--more-->\nEl trabajo presentado \u00a0por\u00a0 Segal\u00e9s fue desarrollado \u00edntegramente en el Laboratorio de Sistemas de Potencia y Control (LSPyC) de la FIUNA y es el siguiente:\n\n\n<ul>\n    \n\n<li>Antonio Segal\u00e9s, Ra\u00fal Gregor, Jorge Rodas, Derlis Gregor, Sergio Toledo, <em>\u201cImplementation of a Low Cost UAV for Photogrammetry Measurement Applications,<\/em>\u201d ICUAS\u201916, 7-10 junio, 2016, Arlington, EstadosUnidos.<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\nEl ICUAS\u201916 tuvo como objetivo principal presentar los \u00faltimos avances tecnol\u00f3gicos enfocados en el dise\u00f1o de aeronaves aut\u00f3nomas no tripuladas de alta confiabilidad. En ese contexto, las organizaciones nacionales e internacionales, agencias, industrias, autoridades militares y civiles se encuentran trabajando para definir planes a futuro que permitan potenciar el uso y las aplicaciones de los UAVs. Se prev\u00e9 que la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de UAVs puedan ser utilizados en una diversas aplicaciones de dominio civil y p\u00fablico.\nDurante el ICUAS\u201916 tambi\u00e9n se llevaron a cabo tutor\u00edas, charlas y paneles sobre aplicaciones potenciales de vanguardia con el uso de UAVs tales como <em>\u201cEmerging SUAS Technology for Precision Agriculture Applications<\/em>\u201d, <em>\u201cUAV Design for Autonomy: Challenges and Enabling Technologies\u201d<\/em> e incluso <em>\u201cUnmanned Air Systems (UAS) used by the U.S. Army\u201d<\/em>. Estos puntos est\u00e1n siendo abordados por la FIUNA actualmente.
