Importancia de su consideraci\u00f3n en la Evaluaci\u00f3n Estructural\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><!--more-->\nEn la semana comprendida del lunes 15 al jueves 18 de octubre, el Ing. Guti\u00e9rrez \u00a0viajar\u00e1 a Colombia, donde dictar\u00e1 una Conferencia el d\u00eda martes 16 de octubre en la Escuela de Ingenier\u00eda Civil y Geom\u00e1tica de la Universidad del Valle, Cali. La Conferencia a ser dictada all\u00ed es: <strong><em>\u201cP\u00f3rticos de Hormig\u00f3n bajo cargas laterales severas. Comportamiento estructural de elementos con deficiencia de armado\u201d<\/em><\/strong>. Esta Conferencia es auspiciada por el Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n en Ingenier\u00eda S\u00edsmica, E\u00f3lica, Geot\u00e9cnica y Estructural (G-7), un grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n Multidisciplinario que se ha consolidado como uno de los m\u00e1s importantes en Colombia en diversos campos de la Ingenier\u00eda. Adem\u00e1s de la presentaci\u00f3n de la Conferencia se realizar\u00e1n otras actividades que incluyen visita a Laboratorios y recorrida de las instalaciones donde se llevan a cabo investigaciones en el \u00e1rea de la Ingenier\u00eda Estructural.\nEn la semana comprendida entre el lunes 22 al viernes 26 de octubre, el Ing. Guti\u00e9rrez participar\u00e1 de las <strong><em>XXXVIII Jornadas Sudamericanas de Ingenier\u00eda Estructural en la ciudad de Lima (Per\u00fa)<\/em> <\/strong>en su car\u00e1cter de Vicepresidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Sudamericana de Ingenier\u00eda Estructural. Adem\u00e1s presentar\u00e1 el trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n denominado <strong><em>\u201cModelo Computacional para P\u00f3rticos de Hormig\u00f3n Armado\u201d<\/em><\/strong>.\nEl \u00e1rea de la Ingenier\u00eda Estructural y Geotecnia ha tenido en Paraguay un alt\u00edsimo desarrollo en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. Trabajos cient\u00edficos elaborados por los investigadores Juan Pablo Bellassai, Rub\u00e9n L\u00f3pez, Antonio Aquino, Sergio Gavil\u00e1n, Roberto Rojas y Jos\u00e9 Luis Guti\u00e9rrez han sido objeto de presentaciones en Congresos Internacionales.
