Gonzalez Cuevas<\/strong>, vinculado al <strong>Laboratorio de Mec\u00e1nica y Energ\u00eda<\/strong> de la<strong>\u00a0Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de Asunci\u00f3n (FIUNA)<\/strong>, en el<strong> <em>1st Latin American Workshop on Electroporation and its Applications<\/em>, <\/strong>que se llev\u00f3 a cabo los d\u00edas 8 y 9 de octubre en la <strong>Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA<\/strong>), Argentina.<!--more-->\nEl trabajo consiste en la simulaci\u00f3n en espacio 3D del movimiento de iones a trav\u00e9s de poros formados en la membrana plasm\u00e1tica de c\u00e9lulas durante electroporaci\u00f3n, usando un modelo de din\u00e1mica Browniana que es principalmente determin\u00edstico siguiendo la mec\u00e1nica Newtoniana, pero considera estoc\u00e1sticamente las colisiones el\u00e1sticas de los iones con el agua. La conductividad del poro, coeficiente de difusi\u00f3n, movilidad y tiempo de traslaci\u00f3n de los iones son estimados con el modelo, contribuyendo de esta manera al dise\u00f1o de las formas de las ondas de pulsos electromagn\u00e9ticos aplicados para maximizar la entrada de ADN, medicamentos y material gen\u00e9tico en las c\u00e9lulas.
