H\u00e9ctor Fretes Acevedo<\/strong>, egresado de la carrera de <strong>Ingenier\u00eda Mecatr\u00f3nica de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de Asunci\u00f3n (FIUNA),<\/strong> ha presentado dos art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos en el marco de la Conferencia Internacional denominada<strong><em> \u201cInternational Workshop on Research, Education and Development on Unmanned Aerial Systems (RED-UAS 2019)\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, llevada a cabo en Cranfield, Reino Unido, del 25 al 27 de noviembre del presente a\u00f1o.<!--more-->\nLa Conferencia RED-UAS 2019, la cual es auspiciada por la Sociedad de Rob\u00f3tica y Automatizaci\u00f3n del Instituto de Ingenier\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica y Electr\u00f3nica (IEEE), tiene como objetivo reunir a representantes de la academia, la industria y\u00a0 organizaciones gubernamentales que se encuentran trabajando en el \u00e1rea de investigaci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos no tripulados, el cual representa en la actualidad un \u00e1rea en constante y r\u00e1pida expansi\u00f3n. En ella, los intereses de diversos grupos involucrados en la investigaci\u00f3n y el desarrollo de veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos no tripulados fueron discutidos, con especial \u00e9nfasis en las oportunidades de investigaci\u00f3n actuales y futuras.\n\n\n<h3>En este contexto, el Ing. Fretes present\u00f3 los siguientes art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos:<\/h3>\n\n\nEnrique Paiva, Marcos G\u00f3mez\u00a0 &#8211; Redondo, Jorge Rodas, Yassine Kali, Maarouf Saad, Raul Gregor, Hector Fretes, <strong><em>\u201cCascade First and Second Order Sliding Mode Controller of a QuadRotor UAV Based on Exponential Reaching Law and Modified Super-Twisting Algorithm\u201d.<\/em><\/strong>\nHector Fretes, Marcos G\u00f3mez-Redondo, Enrique Paiva, Jorge Rodas, Raul Gregor, <strong><em>\u201cA Review of Existing Evaluation Methods for Point Clouds Quality\u201d.<\/em><\/strong>\nEstos trabajos de investigaci\u00f3n fueron desarrollados de manera colaborativa con prestigiosos investigadores nacionales e internacionales, tales como el Prof. Dr. Jorge Esteban Rodas Ben\u00edtez y el Prof. Dr. Ra\u00fal Gregor ambos adscritos al Laboratorio de Sistemas de Potencia y Control (LSPyC) de la FIUNA, el Prof. Dr. Maarouf Saad y el Dr. Yassine Kali pertenecientes a la \u00c9cole de Technologie Sup\u00e9rieure (Montr\u00e9al, Canad\u00e1). Asimismo, fueron coautores del trabajo, los egresados de Ingenier\u00eda Mecatr\u00f3nica de la FIUNA, el Ing. Enrique Paiva y el Ing. Marcos G\u00f3mez-Redondo.\nCabe destacar que estos trabajos forman parte del proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n cofinanciado por el Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (CONACYT) y la FIUNA bajo la denominaci\u00f3n <em>\u201cPINV15-0136 Veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos no tripulados (UAV) en aplicaciones de fotogrametr\u00eda para el an\u00e1lisis planialtim\u00e9trico y c\u00e1lculo de volumen\u201d.<\/em>]]>    \t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ing.
