Gonz\u00e1lez Cuevas<\/strong>, vinculado al <strong>Laboratorio de Mec\u00e1nica y Energ\u00eda<\/strong> de la<strong>\u00a0Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de Asunci\u00f3n (FIUNA)<\/strong>, en el<strong> <em>4th World Congress on Electroporation Pulsed Electric Fields in Biology, Medicine, Food and Environmental Technologies <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wc2022.electroporation.net\/\"><strong>https:\/\/wc2022.electroporation.net\/<\/strong><\/a> que se llev\u00f3 a cabo los d\u00edas 9 al 13 de octubre del corriente en Copenhague, Dinamarca con la participaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 400 investigadores de 31 pa\u00edses.<!--more-->\n\nEl trabajo consiste en la simulaci\u00f3n tridimensional del transporte de iones de calcio, magnesio, sodio, potasio y cloro a trav\u00e9s de las membranas interna y externa de la bacteria Escherichia coli durante la permeabilizaci\u00f3n por electroporaci\u00f3n, usando un modelo de din\u00e1mica Browniana que es principalmente determin\u00edstico siguiendo la mec\u00e1nica Newtoniana, considerando estoc\u00e1sticamente las colisiones el\u00e1sticas de los iones con el agua. La conductividad, coeficiente de difusi\u00f3n, movilidad y tiempo de traslaci\u00f3n de los iones son estimados con el modelo y validados con experimentos realizados en el <strong>Instituto Oncol\u00f3gico<\/strong> <b>Gustave Roussy en Villejuif-Par\u00eds, Francia<\/b>, contribuyendo de esta manera al dise\u00f1o de las formas de las ondas de pulsos electromagn\u00e9ticos aplicados para maximizar la entrada de ADN, medicamentos y material gen\u00e9tico en las c\u00e9lulas. La investigaci\u00f3n fue financiada en su etapa inicial por el<strong>\u00a0Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (CONACYT),<\/strong>\u00a0en el marco del <strong>proyecto 14-INV-289<\/strong> con un aporte incremental proporcionado por la FIUNA.
