El criterio principal para la publicaci\u00f3n en Cell Reports Methods es un m\u00e9todo robusto y reproducible que estimule el progreso cient\u00edfico. Las \u00e1reas de inter\u00e9s incluyen innovaciones en secuenciaci\u00f3n y tecnolog\u00edas de im\u00e1genes, edici\u00f3n de genomas, enfoques de una sola mol\u00e9cula, m\u00e9todos computacionales, biotecnolog\u00eda y biolog\u00eda sint\u00e9tica.\n\nEl Dr. Galeano ha desarrollado un enfoque de IA que permite predecir los efectos secundarios de los medicamentos que se encuentran en ensayos cl\u00ednicos. El Dr. Galeano menciona <em>\u201cPredecir los efectos secundarios de f\u00e1rmacos en desarrollo es un desaf\u00edo debido a la escasa cantidad de datos disponible\u201d<\/em>. Esta tecnolog\u00eda de IA permitir\u00eda a las compa\u00f1\u00edas farmac\u00e9uticas dise\u00f1ar medicamentos m\u00e1s seguros para pacientes y as\u00ed anticipar efectos adversos que de otra manera solo ser\u00eda detectado cuando el f\u00e1rmaco se encuentre en el mercado.
