Alfredo Renault, docente e investigador de la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de Asunci\u00f3n (FIUNA)<\/strong>, realiz\u00f3 una destacada visita al prestigioso Laboratorio Fermilab en Batavia, Illinois, Estados Unidos. La visita, desarrollada en noviembre, se dio en el marco de su colaboraci\u00f3n en el innovador proyecto DAMIC (Dark Matter in CCDs), que busca detectar materia oscura mediante avanzadas tecnolog\u00edas de c\u00e1maras de carga acoplada (CCDs). <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El proyecto DAMIC, reconocido internacionalmente por su enfoque en la detecci\u00f3n de materia oscura, utiliza tecnolog\u00eda de vanguardia para captar se\u00f1ales de esta enigm\u00e1tica forma de materia, que representa uno de los mayores misterios de la f\u00edsica moderna. La visita del Dr. Renault tuvo como prop\u00f3sito fortalecer los lazos colaborativos con Fermilab, explorar las instalaciones, y evaluar oportunidades para integrar tecnolog\u00edas innovadoras que complementen los experimentos en curso.<\/p>\n<h4>Actividades realizadas<\/h4>\n<p>Durante su estancia, el Prof. Dr. Ing. Alfredo Renault particip\u00f3 en una serie de actividades:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Recorridos especializados:<\/strong> Visit\u00f3 instalaciones de investigaci\u00f3n relacionadas con la materia oscura y tecnolog\u00edas de detecci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reuniones t\u00e9cnicas:<\/strong> Colabor\u00f3 en mesas redondas con investigadores de Fermilab, abordando avances recientes y desaf\u00edos en f\u00edsica de part\u00edculas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intercambio de conocimientos:<\/strong> Comparti\u00f3 experiencias sobre tecnolog\u00edas de sensores y sistemas de detecci\u00f3n que podr\u00edan potenciar los resultados del proyecto DAMIC.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exploraci\u00f3n de colaboraciones futuras:<\/strong> Analiz\u00f3 oportunidades para desarrollar experimentos conjuntos, intercambio de datos y recursos tecnol\u00f3gicos entre la FIUNA y Fermilab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Impacto de la visita<\/h4>\n<p>La participaci\u00f3n del Dr. Renault en Fermilab refuerza el compromiso de la FIUNA con la investigaci\u00f3n avanzada y posiciona a la instituci\u00f3n en el \u00e1mbito internacional de la f\u00edsica de part\u00edculas. Adem\u00e1s, esta colaboraci\u00f3n abre puertas para desarrollar nuevos convertidores de potencia y t\u00e9cnicas de control aplicadas a sistemas de detecci\u00f3n con CCDs.<\/p>\n<p>El impacto de
