Gregor y en el marco de los proyectos PINV01-24, PINV01-25, PINV01-26 y PINV01-27, financiados por el CONACYT \/ PROCIENCIA, con la colaboraci\u00f3n de investigadores, estudiantes y egresados de la FIUNA.<\/p>\n<h4>Optimizaci\u00f3n descentralizada del tr\u00e1fico urbano con almacenamiento verificable (Proyecto PINV01-25)<\/h4>\n<p>En representaci\u00f3n del equipo de investigaci\u00f3n, <strong>Mar\u00eda J. Duarte<\/strong> present\u00f3 el trabajo <em>\u201cScalable and Decentralized Urban Traffic Optimization with Verifiable Storage for Smart City Deployments\u201d<\/em>, desarrollado junto a <strong>Kevin M. Galeano, Marcos D. Villagra y Derlis O. Gregor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio propone una arquitectura modular y descentralizada para la optimizaci\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico urbano mediante simulaci\u00f3n con SUMO, inferencia difusa tipo Mamdani y optimizaci\u00f3n de tiempos semaf\u00f3ricos utilizando Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Los datos son almacenados de forma verificable en IPFS y BlockDAG, reduciendo la latencia en m\u00e1s del 60 % frente a sistemas centralizados. Este trabajo constituye un avance clave del proyecto PINV01-25 orientado a ITS y ciudades inteligentes<\/p>\n<h4>Conteo vehicular robusto ante oclusiones mediante aprendizaje continuo (Proyecto PINV01-27)<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Kevin M. Galeano<\/strong> present\u00f3 el trabajo<em> \u201cOcclusion-proof Vehicle Counting using Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence\u201d<\/em>, desarrollado junto a <strong>Diego Palacios, Mario Arzamendia, Fabi\u00e1n Palacios, Sergio Toral Mar\u00edn<\/strong> (Universidad de Sevilla) y<strong> Derlis O. Gregor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El art\u00edculo introduce un algoritmo de conteo vehicular basado en visi\u00f3n computacional que integra YOLOv8 con una red neuronal MLP de aprendizaje continuo para mantener el seguimiento de veh\u00edculos incluso bajo oclusi\u00f3n. Los resultados demuestran una mejora del 87 % en precisi\u00f3n respecto a m\u00e9todos convencionales, consolidando una soluci\u00f3n adaptable y de r\u00e1pida implementaci\u00f3n en entornos urbanos<\/p>\n<h4>Detecci\u00f3n temprana de deficiencias nutricionales en lechugas hidrop\u00f3nicas (Proyecto PINV01-26)<\/h4>\n<p>En representaci\u00f3n del equipo del LSD, <strong>Yessica Recalde<\/strong> present\u00f3 el trabajo <em>\u201cEarly Nutrient Deficiency Detection in Hydroponic Lettuce via CNN-Based Image Analysis\u201d<\/em>, junto a <strong>Alfredo Renault, Diego Palacios, Alba Chaparro, Alejandro Carissimo, Juan Gonz\u00e1lez, Maira Santacruz, Mario Arzamendia y Derlis O. Gregor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El estudio aplica redes neuronales convolucionales (CNN) con arquitectura U-Net y codificador ResNet34 para la segmentaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica de lechugas sanas y enfermas a partir de im\u00e1genes RGB. El modelo alcanz\u00f3 m\u00e9tricas destacadas (mIoU = 0.76; F1-Score = 0.86), demostrando su aplicabilidad como herramienta de diagn\u00f3stico para agricultura de precisi\u00f3n en sistemas hidrop\u00f3nicos<\/p>\n<h4>Monitoreo vehicular remoto y actualizaciones distribuidas mediante LoRaWAN e IPFS (Proyecto PINV01-24)<\/h4>\n<p>El trabajo <em>\u201cRemote Monitoring, Control, and Update Triggering via LoRaWAN in an Edge-Based Vehicle Counting System\u201d<\/em> fue presentado por <strong>Marcelo Palma,<\/strong> junto a <strong>Fabi\u00e1n Palacios-Pereira, Mario Arzamendia, Derlis O. Gregor, Diego Palacios, Ariel Fleitas y Hern\u00e1n Lezcano.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El art\u00edculo describe una arquitectura aut\u00f3noma y energ\u00e9ticamente eficiente para conteo vehicular mediante visi\u00f3n artificial YOLOv8n, ejecutada en dispositivos NVIDIA Jetson Nano con transmisi\u00f3n de datos por LoRa y actualizaci\u00f3n remota a trav\u00e9s de IPFS. Los ensayos demostraron bajo consumo energ\u00e9tico y actualizaciones exitosas en menos de 1,2 minutos, validando el dise\u00f1o como una alternativa viable para estaciones de monitoreo vehicular inteligente<\/p>\n<p>Estos resultados fortalecen el posicionamiento del Laboratorio de Sistemas Distribuidos (LSD) como un referente nacional en sistemas inteligentes, distribuidos y reproducibles, con impacto directo en \u00e1reas estrat\u00e9gicas como movilidad urbana, agricultura de precisi\u00f3n e infraestructura digital descentralizada.<\/p>\n<p>El LSD contin\u00faa consolidando su liderazgo en investigaci\u00f3n aplicada, integrando IA, IoT y visi\u00f3n computacional en soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas de alto valor para el Paraguay y la regi\u00f3n.<br \/>\n<div
