Miguel Mendieta<\/strong>, docentes investigadores del <strong>Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica y Electromec\u00e1nica (DIME)<\/strong> de la <strong>Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional de Asunci\u00f3n (FIUNA)<\/strong>, participaron en el <strong>Segundo Taller del Proyecto<\/strong> y realizaron visitas t\u00e9cnicas en el <strong>Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Aeron\u00e1utica (ITA)<\/strong>, en S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, Brasil.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Esta actividad forma parte del proyecto de cooperaci\u00f3n internacional titulado: <strong>\u00abAbordaje interdisciplinario te\u00f3rico-experimental para una transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica en los pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n mediante la integraci\u00f3n de combustibles ecol\u00f3gicos y movilidad el\u00e9ctrica\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El consorcio, integrado por investigadores de <strong>Argentina, Brasil, Paraguay y Uruguay<\/strong>, tiene como objetivo principal explorar nuevas alternativas para la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica en el sector de la movilidad y el transporte regional. El enfoque se centra en:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>El uso de <strong>combustibles ecol\u00f3gicos (e-fuels)<\/strong> con baja huella de carbono.<\/li>\n<li>La <strong>electrificaci\u00f3n de trenes de potencia<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>La reducci\u00f3n de la dependencia de los combustibles f\u00f3siles.<\/li>\n<li>La <strong>no utilizaci\u00f3n de alimentos como materia prima<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>La valorizaci\u00f3n de <strong>desechos industriales<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El proyecto, vigente entre <strong>2024 y 2026<\/strong>, cuenta con el financiamiento de instituciones de ciencia y tecnolog\u00eda de los cuatro pa\u00edses participantes: <strong>FAPESP (Brasil), CONACYT (Paraguay), ANII (Uruguay) y CONICET (Argentina)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el encuentro, las autoridades del ITA \u2014representadas por el <strong>Vicerrector Prof. Andr\u00e9 Cavalieri<\/strong> y el <strong>Prof. Mariano Arbelo<\/strong>\u2014 resaltaron la importancia de <strong>fortalecer los v\u00ednculos de investigaci\u00f3n y cooperaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica<\/strong> entre las naciones involucradas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Las actividades desarrolladas durante la visita incluyeron:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Visitas a laboratorios e instalaciones estrat\u00e9gicas<br \/>\n<\/strong>Los investigadores recorrieron el Laboratorio de Combusti\u00f3n, Propulsi\u00f3n y Energ\u00eda (LCPE) del ITA, donde observaron el funcionamiento del motor \u00f3ptico AVL y bancadas para ensayos de motores Flex y metanol verde. Asimismo, visitaron la Universidad Federal de Itajub\u00e1 (UNIFEI), orientada al estudio de sistemas de conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda y biocombustibles; el Centro Tecnol\u00f3gico para el Pre-Sal Brasile\u00f1o (CTPB), instituci\u00f3n dedicada a la investigaci\u00f3n y desarrollo de tecnolog\u00edas de vanguardia para la extracci\u00f3n de petr\u00f3leo en aguas profundas; y la planta de generaci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno verde CH2V, una instalaci\u00f3n de escala piloto destinada a la producci\u00f3n, purificaci\u00f3n y almacenamiento de hidr\u00f3geno verde mediante sistemas de electrolizadores.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reuniones de trabajo y coordinaci\u00f3n<br \/>\n<\/strong>Se evalu\u00f3 el cumplimiento de los hitos del proyecto, fortaleciendo la articulaci\u00f3n entre los ensayos experimentales (liderados por ITA e ITBA) y las simulaciones computacionales (lideradas por CIMEC y GTA). Tambi\u00e9n se discutieron oportunidades de movilidad acad\u00e9mica y becas de investigaci\u00f3n entre la FIUNA y las instituciones brasile\u00f1as.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Charlas t\u00e9cnicas y presentaciones de avances<br \/>\n<\/strong>Se realizaron sesiones donde los investigadores expusieron los progresos de sus respectivas l\u00edneas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Pedro Lacava (ITA, Brasil): <\/strong>Present\u00f3 resultados experimentales sobre el uso de metanol en motores de encendido por chispa.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Nicol\u00e1s Bertero (INCAPE, Argentina): <\/strong>Expuso sobre el estado del arte en la producci\u00f3n de metanol verde y avances en biocombustibles val\u00e9ricos de segunda generaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Bruno Giordano y Dra. Daiana De Le\u00f3n (UDELAR, Uruguay): <\/strong>Detallaron los avances en simulaci\u00f3n CFD para motores de encendido por compresi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Dar\u00edo Alviso y MSc. Miguel Mendieta (FIUNA, Paraguay): <\/strong>Presentaron los avances en el montaje experimental en Paraguay y el desarrollo de modelos cin\u00e9ticos reducidos para metanol y valeratos.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Horacio Aguerre (CIMEC, Argentina): <\/strong>Mostr\u00f3 simulaciones del motor \u00f3ptico AVL utilizando el software OpenFOAM-12.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Pedro Curto (UDELAR, Uruguay): <\/strong>Present\u00f3 modelos de simulaci\u00f3n global de motores para su integraci\u00f3n en veh\u00edculos y ciclos de conducci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Adem\u00e1s, se discutieron los pr\u00f3ximos pasos del proyecto, que incluyen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finalizaci\u00f3n de la validaci\u00f3n de modelos CFD para motores dual-fuel metanol\/di\u00e9sel.<\/li>\n<li>Desarrollo de publicaciones acad\u00e9micas conjuntas y la preparaci\u00f3n de la memoria final del proyecto.<\/li>\n<li>Consolidaci\u00f3n de la red regional mediante el intercambio activo de estudiantes e investigadores.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Como cierre de las jornadas en S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, los anfitriones y visitantes compartieron una cena de confraternidad, fortaleciendo los lazos de colaboraci\u00f3n y amistad entre los equipos de los cuatro pa\u00edses. Este segundo encuentro refuerza la cohesi\u00f3n cient\u00edfica del grupo y sienta las bases para futuras colaboraciones en pro de una transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica sostenible para la
